Evalyn Glennie Shows how to Listen

What struck you about?
What struck me is show is that when she was playing the Marimba she had the sticks crossed each other  and she even pulled the sticks apart really far from each other. Another thing that strucked me was that she was depth and she was hitting the right notes. That was very cool for me and interesting.

What did you notice?
What I notice is that she showed us the different tempos of the beats. The second thing that I noticed was that she was hitting the right notes to play while she was spreading apart the sticks. the last thing that I noticed was that when she took apart the sticks she kept them straight.

What did you enjoy about her performace? Be specific?
What I enjoyed about her performance was that her very last song was very unique and different to many other type of songs.

Farmers Market Visit

Me, Adriana, Karina, and Jocelyn went to the Chula Vista farmers market. The farmers market was very interesting.

What struck me about the location you visited? Was it what you expected, or very different?

What struckme about this location was that it was in a alley and there was many different people there. For me it was what I expected because I imagined it like little people with their tables full of food.

Which items were cheaper than you expected? Which were more expensive?

The cheapest items that i found was the small Strawberries, they were only 3.00 dollars. The most expensive item was the bigger Strawberries those Strawberries were 5.00 dollars. I thought that strawberries were gonna be more less cheaper, but they had a high price but that was the cheapest item that i found.

Do you think you will start going to a farmers market moree often?

Well maybe because the food is kind of expensive and there is not alot of food inthe farmers market.

Will this garden help the community more?

This garden will help the community because the community will eat more healthier.

What is the purpose of this garden?
To make the community more healthy.

Why did the garden have to be in this place?
Because it was donated by the city.

Does this inspire you ? If so in what way?

Actually this garden inspires me because it shows how we can all come together and make garden to make the community more healthier.

What does this garden mean to me?

This gardens means to me that this is a special part of our life system because of all the food that has being grown by the seniors.

Was the garden what you expected?

 I expected the garden to have more planted plants.

What struck you as interesting?

What strucked me about this garden was that this garden had many different plants and it had a Banana tree.
